World Cup & AIG fever

It is safe to assume that most of us have been drawn to the Women's FIFA World Cup and the success of the Matildas. last week I was also drawn to the viewing of the AIG British Womens Open won by Americas Lilia Vu and it was also excellent.

Can we learn anything from the success of the Women's World Cup?  Already hailed as the best by FIFA that translates to the success of Women's Golf? For what it's worth we throw around some observations and then discuss the success of the AIG Women's event and the week in golf.
