Matt Griffin prepares for The 150th Open Championship at St Andrews - MLOG OPEN SPECIAL

I have been lucky enough to have gotten to know Matt Griffin the last few years and he exemplifies the term professional.

 

As a golfer playing on the Japan Tour it has been without its challenges the last few years, however, come Feb 2022 and the opportunity to compete in the VIC Open, well there was an additional incentive for players.

Courtesy of the R&A passing over 3 x Qualification spots to the 150th Open to the VIC Open, well let's just say the intensity rose a little.

Matt Griffin claimed 3rd place and a chance to represent at the 150th Open Championship being held this week at St Andrews.

This is a recording of our catch up which took place after Matt had enjoyed 18 holes playing The Old Course.
