Mike Browne - From beginner to Golf Pro in 2.5years
As the headline suggests the very fact that someone could possibly consider becoming a Golf Professional in just on 2.5 years after taking up the game, well you might not be the first to think it is a feat beyond reach.
However for Mike Browne from the UK was forced to change his career direction after a training injury whilst in the military brought a halt to the way of life he had know for some 10 plus year.
Serving his country and racing motocross were his way of life, but that would change after the injury and the subsequent decision to amputate his left leg from just above the knee.
Becoming a golf pro, well that story is something else and if you dont know the Mike Browne story then listen on.
I was lucky enough to meet and play golf with Mike and he was kind enough to give me his time. The best part for me, is I now have a golf buddy for life.

New Release Season is Here - EP 53 with our friend TIM WISE from Cobra Puma Golf
Yes folks it is that time of the year when a number of manufacturers release new product. This week the PGA Show in Orlando kicks off so as good citizens of the golf world it is only appropriate that we dedicate a little bit of time to discussing what we think are some of the key new releases.
COBRA SZ RANGE
The new product coming down the line from Cobra has been a game changer for the brand to say the least. Last week we say the release in Australia of the new Cobra SZ. We called on our massive friend of the Podcast PGA Professional and one of the main guys in the Cobra Puma Team here in Australia to give us a run down on the new gear.
We hit the driver together out on course and unfortunately the podcast will never do justice to just how well this driver performed for us. When you are checking out new drivers this season this is one you will want on your list.
Thanks Timmy for giving us access and super looking forward to having you on board for a new segment in the future.
Maybe we will call it Wedging it with Wisey. Got a better name on what to call an instructional session with a short game wizard, hit us up.

Steve Smith is a man passionate about the craft of green keeping. Those beloved group of tradesman who pour their heart and sole into the preparation of the wonderful golf courses where we golfers play our sacred game.
After starting life as a volunteer Steve moved onto the grounds staff of his local and eventually became a Super, or otherwise more formally known a Superintendent.
Nowadays Steve has dedicated a lot of his time sharing his passion as The Golfing Greenkeeper, which he does so with a view to educating and enlightening those interested in the art of tending the greens.

Recently on his visit first down under we had the amazing opportunity thanks to TaylorMade to interview Global boss of of TM iron product Matt Bovee.
In this interview you will learn a little about Matt who is making his mark in the golf world by being responsible for some of the most innovative products in the game. Having previously worked in the metal wood area Matt has recently turned his attention to the TM iron dept. We discuss the new P790 irons, the Milled Grind 2 and Hi Toe Wedge family, TM Metals and putters. If you want to learn from the man that knows, then this is a must listen interview.
Quite honestly the chat could've gone for hours but as global product gurus do, Matt was quickly off to another appointment.

Announcing The Mental Mastery Golf Podcast with Jamie Glazier
Jamie Glazier has been helping people harness the power of their mind game to improve their golf game for a number of years. From tour golf to club golf his experience is vast.

Alex Benjamin from the Taylormade Fitting Lab
We caught up with Benji fresh off the plane after working the week on the Taylormade Japan Golf Tour Truck at the Japan Skins and Zozo Championship, watching Hideki, Jason Day, Rory McIroy and of course Mr 82...Tiger Woods and hanging with Tommy Fleetwood.
Alex takes us through his golfing story, more on his Japan experience where we learn just who is Mr Zozo-san.
Alex is one of the genuine characters of the Australian Golf Industry, a flusher of the golf ball in his own right and a young man who loves the Taylormade brand and wants to experience as much as he can.
