EPISODE 37 - Gabrielle Macdonald Scottish Golf Touring Professional
This episode of The My Love of Golf Podcast we sit down to chat with young up and coming Scottish Golf Pro Gabrielle Macdonald.
This was recorded just toward the end of Gabrielle's first year on the LET Access tour which is the road to the LET. Gabrielle turned pro at the end of 2018 after a stellar amateur career which included a win in the Scottish Ladies Amateur Championship in 2014 at the prestigious Prestwick GC as well as a runner up finish.
It was great to get the opportunity to play a round of golf with Gabrielle and chat about her journey thus far. We also spent a little time on the range, may have even picked up a tip or two. When the chance comes we may put out some of that video on the YouTube channel.

Hailing from the Melbourne Sandbelt suburbs Matt Griffin was in the perfect location to hone his skills as a golfer. Matt has played all around the world and is a current member of the Japan Golf Tour.

The 148th Open Championship

What an Open Championship! It had everything for everbody. Amazing golf on an amazing golf course. The emotional highs and lows of a great and proud golfing nation and a deserving if maybe somewhat unanticipated winner in Shane Lowry.
Watching Shane Lowry win the 148th Open Championship for me will remain one of my life long feel good sporting stories. Everybody hoped he had it in him, form sugested he had it in him and maybe just maybe once Shane believed he had it in him, well the rest as the say....is now written in Irish golf folklore.
Congrats big man. You are The Champion Golfer of The Year.

I make no secret of my love for this great links golf course Lahinch GC, host of this weeks European Tour Event the DDF Irish Open.

Peter Hackett lives life in the fast lane, literally. As head of the Mercedes-Benz drive experience and lead driver in the Eggelstone Motorsport AMG GT race car in the Australian GT series Peter lives a fast paced life in fast cars.
However the moment he leaves the track you will most likely find him on the golf course. A game he has also excelled at since a young age. Like most high achievers in their field, when it comes to golf Peter is unashamedly addicted.

US Open Review

EPISODE 22 | US OPEN Preview
Rossco and Rocket come together in the studio to prepare for the 2019 US Open at Pebble Beach. This destined to be a great tournament. Can Brooks Koepka continue his Major form. Rory is hot of a win at the RBC Canadian Open. The list of winners at Pebble Beach is an esteemed list, who is your tip.
Rocket gives his first hand take on the holes that he believes will make or break the winners tilt at the US Open title and lets us in on just what it is like to experience golf on the famous, Monterey Peninsula.
